Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 27, 1996 Walter Wooley of Yarnell, died Nov. 23 in Prescott. He was 89. Mr. Wooley was born Jan. 25, 1907 in Jones County, Texas. He had lived in Arizona for the past 66 years. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Wooley of Admore, Okla.; two daughters Margie Baldwin of Arlington, Texas and Judy Thomas of Phoenix; sister Alice, of Tahoka, Texas; brother J.C. Wooley of Brownfield, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be at noon today (Wednesday, Nov. 27) at the Wickenburg Cemetery. ----------------------------------- Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 27, 1996 Walter Wooley of Yarnell died Nov. 23 in Prescott. Mr. Wooley worked as an operating engineer in the construction trade for most of his life. His hobbies included prospecting and mining. He also was a farmer, raising hay crops. Survivors include sons Kenneth Wooley of Yarnell and Hersel Wooley of Ardmore, Okla.; daughters Margie Baldwin of Arlington, Texas and Judy Thomas of Phoenix; sister Alice of Tahoka, Texas; brother J.C. Wooley of Brownfield, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at noon today (Wednesday, Nov. 27) at the Wickenburg Cemetery. Visitation was conducted between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday; Nov. 26 at the Wickenburg Funeral Horne. Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements. See Also: Find A Grave |
