| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 18, 1996 Mary E. Thies of Morristown, died Dec. 15 in Morristown. She was 73. Mrs. Thies was born Sept. 12, 1923 in Denver Township, Mich. She had lived in Arizona for the past 20 years, coming from Michigan. Survivors include her husband, Edward Thies of Morristown; sons and daughters-in-laws Carl and Alice Thies of Temple, Texas and John and Cindi Thies of Phoenix; daughters Mary June Meredith and Ruth Potrafka both of Phoenix; daughter and son-in-law Julie and Philip Wallace of Rickreall, Ore.; sisters Nellie Farber of Morristown and Michigan, Areldine Irons of Hesparia, Mich., Donna Daunt of Michigan, Billie Hecox of Rio Ricos, and Beverly Campbell of Holland, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Frey Funeral Home. Services will follow at Frey Funeral Home, with Pastor Duane Middleton officiating.
