Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 16, 1996 William M. Hiber of Wickenburg died Oct 9 in Sun City. He was 77. Mr. Hiber was born April 26, 1919 in Superior, Neb. He had lived in Arizona for the past five years. Mr. Hiber and his wife Julia were married in November of 1966. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW in Anchorage, Alaska, and also was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Hiber also was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife Julia of Wickenburg; sons Jhan Hiber of Washington, D.C., Burl Rogers of Anchorage, Alaska, Ronald L. Rogers of Medford, Alaska, and Chris Rogers of Anchorage; sister Wilma Bryan of Wickenburg; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 16) at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jim Longstreet and Masonic Lodge No. 37 of Wickenburg will officiate. A private cremation will be conducted. Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home, Inc., at 187 N.
