June 3, 1934 - June 26, 2014

Robert "Bob" Kneale Wortman was born on June 3, 1934 in Kingsley, MI to Albert W. and Lena A. (Pierce) Wortman.

Robert graduated from Kingsley High School and went on to x-ray school at Blodgett Hospital where he learned to be an x-ray technician. He served 2 years in the US Army and some time in the reserves. Bob worked as an x-ray tech for Hackley Hospital, and he then went on to sales for Ilford. Later, Bob and his friend Art Riley formed the company Grand X-Ray in Grand Rapids,MI where Bob became the Vice President heading the sales department.

In 1977 Bob Married Connie Meinhardi and they had 37 wonderful years together. He loved Big Game Hunting, Golfing, and Woodworking. Bob was a member of the Safari International, Muskegon Elk's Lodge # 274, and for many years was a member of the Muskegon Country Club.

Upon retiring, Bob spent time at the Muskegon Elk's Park in his 5th Wheel and his condo in Muskegon, MI. He and Connie enjoyed their winters in the retirement community of SaddleBrooke in Tucson, AZ.

Bob will be greatly missed by his wife Connie, his children Barbara (Steve) Vetter and Mark (Yolanda)Wortman; his grandchildren Nicholas, Malcolm, Alexis and Skyler Wortman; his step-son Michael Andrew Smith; his Sister-In-Law Marilyn Meinhardi and Brother-In-Law John (Amy) Meinhardi.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at Lakeside Methodist Church, 2160 Crozier Avenuet, Muskegon, Michigan 49441.
