| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, July 20, 2014 Margaret E. Young passed away in her Prescott, Ariz., home on July 4, 2014. She was 68 years old. Margaret, known by her family and friends as Peggy, was born on Jan. 2, 1946, in Burbank, Calif. She moved to Prescott in 1994 from Santa Fe, N.M., where she and her husband Leon owned and operated a retail import business for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilda Gertrude Fisher and Herman Cheney Haskell; her older brother, Brian Ralph Haskell; and her husband, Leon Young. She is survived by her brother, David Allen Haskell of Cottonwood, Ariz. Margaret had no children, but she had a very special, lifelong friend, Diane Scholl of Carmel Valley, Calif., who together with her husband and two daughters provided Peggy with support and affection throughout her life. She will be remembered fondly as a caring and fun loving woman who lived life "Her Way." A private celebration of life service will be held in her memory. Information provided by survivors. |
