| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/25/2014 Eugene Morgan, of Steamboat, AZ died July 21, 2014 in Winslow. He was 95. Eugene was born Nov. 14, 1918 in Cornfields, AZ. Eugene spent most of his life ranching. He loved working with animals and loved tending to his land. He was also employed with the Santa Fe Railroad in the maintenance department for a number of years. He is survived by his four daughters; two sons; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a sister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Yellowhair Morgan; sons, Roy and Larry Morgan and daughter Ella Mae Morgan. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 25, at the Holbrook Stake Center, 1127 Helen Ave. in Holbrook with a visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Holbrook Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled arrangements.
