Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 14 and 26, 1996 Ervin J. Sherbutte, of Wickenburg, died Feb. 23 in Wickenburg. He was 85. Mr. Sherbutte was born Jan. 6, 1911 in Canada. He had lived in Arizona for 10 years, coming here from Michigan. Mr. Sherbutte was a boiler operator for Morton Salt in Marysville, Mich., until his retirement in 1970. He was a member of the American legion and VFW in Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 31, years, Alexandria, of Wickenburg; step-daughters Elizabeth Lixie of Gaylord. Mich. and Ann Evans of Lancaster, Ohio; stepsons Paul Krasnuik of Tucson and Stephen Krasnuik of Midland, Mich.; sisters Bunah Ginther of Wickenburg, Marie Morrison of St. Clair, Mich., and Betty Chambers of Port Huron, Mich.; brother Jack Foster of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church. Fr. John Vogt will officiate. Interment will be held in Michigan at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Sherbutte's name to a charity of one's choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service were in charge of all arrangements.
