Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Territory Wednesday, March 3, 1899, page 3, col. 3 The News of Prescott Prescott, Ariz. - March 2 - (Special correspondence of The Republican.) High requiem mass was held in the Catholic church Tuesday morning at 9:30, for the late George Dwyer followed with funeral services at the same place at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Father Vaber. The funeral was one of the largest ever held in Prescott. At the grave the Woodmen, of which he was a member, had charge of the service, which was a beautiful and impressive one. The pallbearers were D. A. Burke, county treasurer; J. H. Robinson, clerk of the board of supervisors; C. P. Hicks, probate judge; R. M. Ling, district attorney; J. L. Munds, sheriff; W. I. Johnson, county recorder. The flag on the court house was lowered to half mast all day Tuesday, out of respect to the departed. At the grave Colonel, J. F.
