Owens Livingston Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Donna Marie Venhuizen January 27, 1941 - July 28, 2014 Donna Marie Venhuizen, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on July 28, 2014 in Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona. She was 73. Donna was born January 27, 1941 to her parents the late, Wilbert and Loretta Mabel (Komp) Haase in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Donna graduated from Madonna High School in Chicago in 1958 before attending Lamson College. After graduating from Lamson College, she began working for a hospital in Elgin, Illinois as a unit secretary. She then went to work for the Washu Medical Center in Reno, Nevada before moving to San Diego and working for Sharpe Children’s and Memorial Hospital. Finally Donna and her family moved to Arizona where she began working for Scottsdale Osborne Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Art Venhuizen of Show Low; her children, Art Jr. of Mesa, Arizona, Cheryl Lynn of Mesa, Arizona, Gezina of Escondido, California, Samuel Wayne of Tucson, Arizona and Daniel Alan of Topeka, Kansas; grandchildren, Steven, Amber, Heather, Jeremy, Joshua and Sierra; great-grandchildren, Chase and Jordan as well as brothers, Bill and Dick Haase. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lenore Draper. “We love you and we miss you.” Private services will be held. |
