Charles G. Hill of Scottsdale and Yarnell, died May 10 in Yarnell. He was 73. Mr. Hill was born May 8, 1923 in St. Joseph, Mo. He had lived in Arizona for 69 years, coming from Missouri as small boy. Mr. Hill grew up in Superior. He resided in Scottsdale throughout his adult life, working as a mechanic for the Salt River Project. He was a Navy veteran, serving in World War II.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Lila Lee Hill of Yarnell; daughter Lora Lee White; sons Charles, Tony, Steve, and Jess Hill; sister Barbara Waren; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, May 14 at Paradise Valley Community Church in Phoenix. The Rev. William R. Notehelfer officiated.

Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled all arrangements.
