| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 24, 1996 Marie Margaret Hosler of Wickenburg, died July 16 in the Wickenburg Care Center. She was 88. Mrs. Hosler was born March 17, 1908 in Minnesota. She had lived in Arizona for the past 12 years. Mrs. Hosler grew up in Minnesota and spent many years on a farm near Pleasant Plain, Iowa. She retired in Surburban Heights, Fairfield for 17 years, and then came to Arizona. Mrs. Hosler was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Wickenburg. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Glenn, of the Wickenburg Care Center; daughter Patricia of the Wickenburg Care Center; daughter Marilyn Hinkle of Wickenburg; son-in-law Richard Hinkle of the Wickenburg Care Center; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lorene of Molalla, Ore.; five grandchildren, Brenda Abbott, Sandra Jordan Richard, Chris and Kurt Hinkle; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille, brother, Melvin, two half brothers, Adolph and Harry, and three half sisters, Anne, Helen and Gertrude. The family asks that all correspondence be addressed to Marilyn Hinkle, 2501 W. Wickenburg Way, No. 123, Wickenburg, Ariz. 85390; because Glenn Hosler is blind. A memorial mass was conducted Friday, July 19at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Fr. John Vogt officiated. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Martinsburg, Iowa at a later date. Contributions in Mrs. Hosler's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Phoenix Chapter, 1028 E. McDowell Rd. Phoenix, Ariz. 85006. Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. |
