Matilda M. Criley of Aguila, died Feb. 24 in Sun City West. She was 85.
Mrs. Criley was born May 10, 1910 in Burr, Neb. She had lived in Arizona for 16 years.

She was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church, most recently belonging to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg. The first church she and her family attended was in Fort Morgan, Colo. and services were only spoken in German.

Her hobbies included flying, traveling and crafts.

Mrs. Criley is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lewis, of Aguila; daughter Mera Louise Anderson of Golden, Colo.; son Paul A. of Westminster, Colo.; sisters Evalena Witter of Beaveton, Ore., Goldie Schnegelberger of Fort Morgan, Colo., Hazel Smith of Thornton, Colo., and Doris Neb of Wiggins, Colo.; brother Lavern Henke of Longmont, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Criley in 1991, and sister, Leona Ostwald in
1995.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 28 (today) at 2:30 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Pastor Ed Wessling will officiate. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Denver, Colo.
