Martha M. Maxwell
August 16, 1927 - August 27, 2014

Martha M. Maxwell, of Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving sister on August 27, 2014. She was 87. Martha was born to her parents the late, Ted and Elizabeth (Bowser) Farran on August 16, 1927 in Parsons, Labette County, Kansas.

She spent most of her adult life in Parsons until the death of her husband, Cecil, when she decided to move to Buena Park, California. She then moved to Lakeside, Arizona in 1995 to be closer to her family.

Martha had suffered from a long illness and was under hospice care since June of 2012. She has been a resident of Sierra Blanca Rehabilitation Center since August of 2012. She is now at peaceful rest and reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; her parents and a brother, Ted Farran.

Martha is survived by her sister, Gladys King and her husband, John of Lakeside.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the White Mountain Hospice Foundation, PO Box 1975, Lakeside, Arizona 85929.

Martha M. Maxwell, 87, of Lakeside died peacefully Aug. 27, 2014, with her loving sister at her side. Martha was born Aug. 16, 1927, to the late Ted and Elizabeth (Bowser) Farran in Parsons, Kan.

She spent most of her adult life in Parsons until the death of her husband, Cecil, when she decided to move to Buena Park, Calif. She then moved to Lakeside in 1995 to be closer to her family.
