Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, August 24, 2014 - On Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 heaven received a new angel, Jennie M. Clark, aka Mrs. Clark, Zhivka, Keka, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Mica and Little Grandma. Jennie was born to Lela and Milan Myatovich Jan.31, 1917; she was 97 years young. Jennie was greeted in heaven by her husband Roy and her daughters, Marilyn Heath and Marti Hunter. Jennie is survived by her children, Shellie Clark, Mike Clark (Evelyn) and Sandra Baima (Tom), three granddaughters: Margo Tucker, Jennifer and Sarah Ross, ten grandsons: Brad and Greg Kekipi, Gene Hunter, Jeff, Keith and Mike Fedewa, JR, Jesse, Jerod and Jensen Clark, 23 great grandchildren with two on the way and 11 great-great grandchildren. More than anything, Jennie loved spending time with her family. Jennie and Roy moved to Lake Havasu in 1971 with the McCulloch Corporation. She became the first food supervisor at the hospital. She later worked as a teacher’s assistant for LHUSD. She retired in 1992 and became a full time grandma. Jennie enjoyed painting, hanging with the family at the pool, cooking, going to the ocean and watching Cardinals football. She always said the secret to her long life was Bud Light, margaritas, garlic and butter. A celebration of Jennie’s life will be held at 5 p.m., Monday at London Bridge Resort in the Sunset room. |
