| Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Virginia McLaughlin August 25, 2014 Our Mom, Virginia McLaughlin, decided it was time to join our Dad, Merle and daughter, Mary Alice and granddaughter , Jaynae in heaven with the Lord on Monday August 25, 2014. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Sister Alfreda Karleskint; brothers, Tony and Joe Karleskint. Born December 27, 1923 in Miami, Oklahoma to Joseph and Mary (Hickman) Karleskint. She was raised on a farm with her 6 siblings in Ft. Scott, Kansas. There she met and married Merle January 20, 1945. Virginia is survived by her children, Merlene(Larry) and Bob(Pat); grandchildren: Brad Schauf, Brent Schauf and Amy Wilson and Shawna Adams, Darci Duncan and Jason "Jake" McLaughlin; great-grandchildren: Shelbie Schauf, Nathan Schauf, Kayla Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Aiden Schauf, C.J. Wilson, Wade Wilson, Camden Schauf and Kody Adams, Jacob Adams, Jadyn Duncan, Gracyn Duncan, McKay Adams, Carlie Adams, Brycen Duncan, T.J. Adams; Sister Barbara Karleskint,Sister Bernadette Karleskint and Jake Karleskint. Other family members, Michael and Jack McHugh. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am Friday August 29, 2014 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Rd. A visitation will be from 9:00 am with a rosary at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. |
