Emma Catherine (Verkamp) Babbitt

Mrs Emma Babbitt, wife of David Babbitt, of Flagstaff, died in Los Angeles Monday. Mrs Babbitt had been in ill health for some time, and was removed to a Los Angeles hospital, where an operation was performed in the hope of saving her life. She died immediately after the operation from the effects of the shock.

Mrs David Babbitt, wife of a member of the big Flagstaff firm of Babbitt Bros., died in Los Angeles, where she had been taken for medical treatment a few days ago. The remains were shipped to her old home in Cincinnati, where interment will take place. The sorrowing husband and six small children were passengers for Cincinnati on the same train. Father Dilley, the parish priest at Flagstaff, accompanied the sorrowing family.
