| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 29, 1996 Emily Mildred Widing of Wickenburg, died May 23 in Sun City. She was 76. Mrs. Widing was born Nov. 23, 1919 in Worchcster, Mass. She had recently moved to Arizona from Massachusetts. Mrs. Widing was a member of the Westey United Methodist Church in Worcester, Mass. and the Stella Chapter O.E.S. She worked as a secretary in her husband's numerous developing companies and was a Realtor in her later years. Mrs. Widing was an avid golfer and belonged many, golfing organizations. She and her husband and won numerous golf tournaments over the years, including an international golf tournament. The Widings spent much time traveling over the years. She also enjoyed sewing. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Eric, of Wickenburg; daughters and sons-in-law Karen and Gerald Hyson of Holden, Mass. and Melanie and Marshall Heath of Wickenburg; four grandchildren: and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Widing was preceded in death by her brother, James Simmler of North Grafton, Mass.; her parents, Carl S. and Emily A. Simmler; and grandchild Hans A. J. Hyson. Services will be, at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30 at Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Ed Wessling will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in Rural Cemetery in Worcester, Mass. Contributions in Mrs. Widing name may be made to: Wickenburg Extended Care Activities Fund, 520 Rose Lane, Wickenburg, Ariz. 85390.
