Samuel O Frederick

Posted 2014-08-29 by Pat R
Judge Brooks of Prescott is in receipt of the sad intelligence of the death of an ancient Arizona pioneer and friend, S.O. Fredericks, in Tombstone, Feb 3, 1897, at the not very advanced age of 62 years and eight months. Consumption was the fatal malady. S.O. Fredericks came to Arizona in 1863, a member of the Noyes-Lount-Brooks party. He owned and worked the Senator mine near Prescott, many years ago. He was a native of Massachusetts and left Boston for San Francisco, via Cape Horn, in 1858. The passage took six months.
