Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Friday, August 29, 2014 - Craig W. Campbell, 65, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Aug. 20, 2014. Craig was born and raised in Ojai Valley, Calif. At a young age, he pursued a career in construction and specialized as an electrician. He was a master with his hands, building and wiring many homes and businesses over the years. In 1991, he relocated with his family to Lake Havasu City, where he later worked for Esmay Electric, Inc. for many years and was well known to all in the trades. He later started a commercial electric business with his son where he worked until he retired in 2011. He was a self-made entrepreneur with many talents. He was a loving family man and friend who would help anyone in need. He was a great listener, a wise man with an elephant’s memory who told captivating stories of his life’s adventures. He enjoyed barbecuing for family and friends, loved the outdoors and was an amazing husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all who had known him and will live in our hearts forever. Ne Obliviscaris. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janis; son, Sean; daughter, Kristeen; grand kids, father, stepmother, three siblings and his beloved dog CJ. He is preceded in death by his mom and brother. Private services will take place in Ventura, Calif. |
