Heather Anne Huntington, age 41, was granted her angel wings on Friday,

friends that Heather had touched in some small way through her short,
yet very memorable life.

Heather's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched
by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity
of time in which one lives.

to California in 1989, where she completed her senior year at Redondo
Beach High School. Moving on to university, Heather held a Master's
Degree in Language Arts.

Heather's love of fashion and travel was evident to all of her family
and friends. We were fortunate that even in her adult life she enjoyed
our family vacations to many parts of the world.

Always a kind heart, with a gentle smile, Heather, devoted her life to
giving unto others. An exceptional teacher, she touched the lives of so
many students. Heather volunteered her time and creativity with many
local organizations, assisted living facilities.

Heather was an active member of the Lewis Kingman Chapter National
Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Along with other committee
contributions she served for three years as the Regent's Page. Because
of her outstanding service and leadership ability she was endorsed by
the Arizona State Regent and granted early eligibility by the State DAR
Board of Directors to be elected to the office of Vice Regent in 2013;
additionally serving as the chapter Program Director. Heather
participated in the chapter Literacy Program for school children and
took an active part in DAR Community Service collecting food and
clothing for the Kingman Food Bank. She served on the Project Patriot
Committee assisting with the mailing of care packages to those in Harm's
Way. The DAR Service to Veterans Committee however, was Heather's
primary interest devoting countless hours distributing food and clothing
to local homeless veterans, participating in the Bullhead City Stand-
down, and attending veterans burial and memorial services recurrently.
