Richard Kenneth Glover of Camp Verde passed away September 6, 2014, at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Meredith Bragdon Glover.

Dick was an avid pilot and ham radio operator, whose call sign was W4AOP.

Born in Lewiston, Maine to Dorothy McAllister Ellis and Kenneth Glover, he was a veteran of the "Korean Conflict." After graduating from Bates College in Lewiston, he was an executive with Towers Perrin and along with his wife owned and managed three Command Performance Styling Salons in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Before moving to Camp Verde, they owned a 50-acre estate for 35 years in Bucks County, PA. The main house dated to 1704. Avid RV'ers, they have travelled the world mostly by RV. When it was apparent that Dick was not going to be able to travel much longer, he said "Let's take a trip around the world"...and they did!

There will be a gravesite service in the state of Maine at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Bates College, 2 Andrews Rd. Lewiston, ME 04240.

Information provided by survivors.
