Michael J. Naddeo U.S. Veteran

Longtime Payson resident, Michael J. Naddeo, 97, passed away of natural causes on July 14, 2014.

After retiring from the Post Office in Scottsdale, Ariz., Michael and his wife, Autumn, moved to Round Valley in 1975. After Autumn passed away in 1990, Michael moved into Payson proper.

During his retirement years, Mike worked part-time at the Payson Hospital and at his friend, Jerry’s Clock Shop.

A World War II veteran, Mike flew on a B-17 as a waist gunner. His plane was shot down in 1944 and he became a POW in Sophia, Bulgaria.

He is survived by his son, daughter-in-law, grandson and many nieces and nephews.
