Connor Benjamin Thredgold, 19, Springville, Utah, passed away peacefully along with his missionary companion on August 22, 2014 while serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Taiwan Taipei Mission. He enjoyed basketball, football, mountain biking, hiking, camping, backpacking, shotgun shooting, off-roading, and driving his 1983 Chevy Truck, “Old Blue”. Connor was called to serve in the Taiwan Taipei Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He entered the MTC on March 5, 2014. He enjoyed his companions and especially loved the people of Taiwan. His big smiles in every photo showed that he truly loved what he was doing. He loved his Father in Heaven and had a burning testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Connor’s Mission President said he was “the boldest missionary he had ever seen.”
