Stephen Louis “Sparky” DeLisle passed away Aug. 21, 2014 in Las Vegas.
He was born Oct. 21, 1950 in San Bernardino, Calif. and graduated high
school there as well.

Steve “Sparky” loved almost everything: people, nature, animals, and
birds – especially hummingbirds. He loved children, even though he had
none of his own, and they loved him. He also enjoyed fishing, boating,
snow skiing and gardening. He was a fantastic bartender and also was a
machinist and carpenter. He was innovative and could fix most anything.
Steve had a great sense of humor and was always happy. He was brave and
strong and tried to keep a positive attitude. He was a proud member of
the NRA and Screen Actors Guild and appeared in a few movies. He loved
acting and getting in costume. He liked Westerns and could recite
scripts from several of them. And of course, Halloween was one of his
favorite times.

Steve moved to Lake Havasu City in his twenties, then on to Reno, Nev.
for 10 years and back to Havasu (his favorite place). He was a resident
of Needles, Calif. for the past 15 years. His wife, Patty of Needles and
parents Pat and Marvin Johnson survive him. His brother David DeLisle
preceded him in death.

Steve was a sweet and wonderful man and will be greatly missed. We all
loved him and will never forget him.

A celebration of his life will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rotary Park,
pavilion #13, in Lake Havasu City, on Oct. 4th, Please pass the word to
all his friends in Lake Havasu.
