| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 Brunhilde Polacek lost her fight with cancer on Sept. 28, 2014, and is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Brun accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in 1978. She loved studying God's word and praying for her family. Brun was preceded in death by her father and mother, Fredrick and Agnes Griesenbrauck. Brun is survived by her loving husband, Bob Polacek; her brother, Harry; her sister, Magdalena. Brun is also survived by her sons, Don (Elaine) Polacek and Jeff (Katie) Polacek; and grandchildren Melanie, Jeremiah, Chloe, Abbie and Lexie. She also has a number of great grandchildren, Carter, Adrian, Gianna and Nathan, all of whom she loved deeply. Brun and her husband had a wonderful life traveling the world and spending time with their family. Her family and friends will miss her smile, her laughter, her kindness and her strength. She cannot come to us but one day we shall be with her again. A Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at the Calvary Chapel in Prescott, Highway 69, Prescott. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be sent to Hospice Family Care, 3195 Stillwater Drive, Prescott, AZ 86305. They took excellent care of our mother.
