| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Jan 10, 2001, p. A16 Betty Strong, a former Yarnell resident, died Dec. 20 at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. She was 73. Mrs. Strong was born Jan. 5, 1927 in Sauk Centre, Minn. She was married to Dale Strong in 1947 in Minneapolis, Minn., and after living in many western states the couple moved to Arizona and owned a motel in Yarnell before semi-retiring to Prescott Valley in 1991. Survivors include her husband; children Michael and Bruce Strong of Woodbury, Minn., Okley Strong of Prescott, and Patricia Brown of Red Wing, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers, Dorothy Wolfe and Donald of Sauk Centre and Russell of Dickinson, N.D. Services have been held. |
