The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 24, 2001, p. A18. William R. Davidson of Wickenburg, died Jan. 16 in Sun City West. He was 74. Mr. Davidson was born May 6, 1926 in Los Angeles. He had lived in Arizona for the past 20 years, moving to Wickenburg in 1981. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Marion, of Wickenburg; sister Marion (Marshall) Parker; brother Edward (Charlene) Davidson; daughter Nancy (Marshall) Andrews and family, daughter Roberta Davidson, son William (Roxie) Davidson and family, and son Richard (Sandy) Davidson) and family. Bill was born May 6, 1926 in Los Angeles, served in the Navy during World War II, and lived in Southern California until moving to Wickenburg in 1981. He retired from Greyhound in 1986. Bill was an active member of the Wickenburg country Club, serving two terms on the Board of Directors, and was also a member of the Wickenburg Elks Lodge No. 2160. He is survived by his wife, Marion Davidson; sister Marion (Marshall) Parker; brother Edward (Charlene) Davidson; daughter Nancy (Marhsall) Andrews and family, daughter Roberts Davidson and son William (Roxie) Davidson and family, and son Richard (Sandy) Davidson and family. No services were held, but donations in Bill Davidson’s name may be made to The Wickenburg Library Society, 164 E. Apache St. Wickenburg 85390; or the Arizona Humane Society, P. O.
