Taylor Scott Hedges Jr. (Tater) was born Jan. 15, 2010, to parents
Taylor and Autumn Rose. Every single day afterward was a blessing, which
ended on Oct. 8, 2014.

Though his time here was short, he lived every day fully and brightened
those days for anyone lucky enough to know him.

He made us happy and gave his family a reason to smile even in the
darkest of moments.

Taylor loved to dance and sing whenever he could. He played every
instrument he got his hands on and made sure you could hear him.

He always wanted to party, but he could never find his shoes.

He read without knowing how and played video games better than anyone I
knew.

Taylor was a super hero. When he played, he could run faster and jump
higher than anyone. He had giant muscles, crazy kicks and a devastating
super punch (which he got from his father). And all those things are
still true.

His greatest kryptonite was his stinky butt, but that was only because
he farted sometimes - and he would let you know, and laugh.

Taylor had his mother's kindness. He loved everyone and everything. His
best friends, his dudes, his Nuna, and his family were always on his
mind.

Taylor loved animals and wanted to keep them all as pets.

He loved camping and the ocean; he wanted to explore and see everything,
just to play with it for a moment, and we are grateful that we had those
moments with him, even though we yearn for more.

With his trust and innocence, Taylor loved you even if he thought it was
awkward. Even if he thought you were weird.

In his short time, Taylor was able to see many things: to travel, learn,
and live. Taylor lived in snow and desert, saw oceans and world wonders,
and was able to experience different cultures and taste different foods
(but never ever pickles or hot sauce).

Taylor leaves behind so much: many family members and friends who want
another chance to say goodbye and hold him once more, to kiss him
goodnight one final time, and to see his beautiful smile. He leaves pets
looking for a playmate and toys untouched. He leaves experiences to be
had and a life meant to be lived.

He was our everything. We all love you, little Tater Tot. Thank you for
allowing us a moment with you.

Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, at Sutton Memorial Home, 1701
Sycamore Ave. in Kingman. There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. with
services beginning at 11 a.m. Please come and tell us your favorite
Tater story and listen to others.
