Walker F. (Dub) McGaughey

Walker F. “Dub” McGaughey, 76, died peacefully Oct. 12, 2014, in Mesa with his wife, daughters, grandkids, sister and brother by his side. He was born Nov. 18, 1937, in Blytheville, Ark., to James H. McGaughey and Shirley K. (Garner) McGaughey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Michael McGinnis.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; siblings Ron McGaughey, Gloria Walrath and Don McGaughey of Phoenix, and Gail Eatherton of Marshfield, Mo.; daughters Misty Jobin of Silverthorne, Colo., Tonya Bratcher of Chandler, Traci King of Gilbert and Julie McGinnis of Chandler; and 14 grandchildren.

Dub enjoyed a 40-year long career with First National Bank of Arizona (later Wells Fargo Bank). He later retired and moved to Eagar with his wife, where he worked in real estate and became an active member of his church.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at Jesus First Community Church in Eagar.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a church or favorite charity.
