Haldon Ray Haywood of Wilhoit, died March 14 at the Ft. Whipple VA Hospital in Prescott. He was 80. Mr. Haywood was born June 13, 1920 in Linton, Ind.

He was a retired instrument repairman for the El Paso National Gas Co., and a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Leatha Haywood of Wilhoit; daughters Sandra Kay Tucker of Keene, Texas, Deana Gail Hoon of Prescott, and Karen Ann Boser of Buckeye; brother Jack Haywood of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be a 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (main entrance east of Cave Creek on Pinnacle Peak Road), in Phoenix.
