Tom McDonald, a former Wickenburg resident, died March 5 in Scottsdale. He was 85.

Mr. McDonald was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on March 18, 1915. He was raised in Cedarhurst, N. Y. and retired as Assistance Postmaster, Cedarhurst, in 1970. He moved to Wickenburg in 1973.

He was a veteran of World War II.

A cremation service followed a Mass at St. Maria Goretti Church, with Fr. Jack Spaulding officiating.

There will be a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg, where Mr. McDonald was a parishioner and active in church affairs.
