John P. Lindmeier, 85, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014. He was born May 12, 1929 in Minneapolis to the late John H. and Agnes (Kardong) Lindmeier. John graduated the Univ. of MN with a degree in biology. He served in the Army from 1952- 1954. He worked as a biologist for the MN DNR from 1954 - 1965. He managed the Jewell Nursery in Lake City, MN from 1965 - 1994. After retiring in 1994 John spent 20 years wintering in Wickenburg.

John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Winifred; daughters, Jean (Danny) Judd, Lisa (Dean) Michael, and Ann (Keith) Lewis; grandchildren, Stephanie, Padrick, Justin, Alex, Travis, Braeden, Thomas, Christopher, and Calah; great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Matthew, Maggie, and Brianna; sister-in-law, Mary Lindmeier, and other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Robbie; brothers, Paul and George.

Deceased’s funeral arrangements: A memorial mass was held Friday, Nov. 14 at St Mary’s of the Lake Church in Lake City, MN. Internment at Shakopee, MN.

John P. Lindmeier, age 85, of Lakeville, formerly of Lake City, passed away Nov. 11, 2014.

Preceded in death by his grandson, Robbie; brothers, Paul and George.

Survived by his wife of 55 years, Winifred; daughters: Jean (Danny) Judd, Lisa (Dean) Michael and Ann (Keith) Lewis; grandchildren: Stephanie, Padrick, Justin, Alex, Travis, Braeden, Thomas, Christopher and Calah; great grandchildren: Vanessa, Matthew, Maggie and Brianna; sister-in-law, Mary Lindmeier; also by other loving relatives and friends.

Memorial Mass, 11am Friday, Nov 14, 2014 at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church (419 W Lyon Ave, Lake City, MN).

Memorial visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment: Shakopee, MN
