Romulo A. Alvarado, age 79, passed away Friday November 14, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 7, 1935 in Superior, AZ. Romulo was one of 8 children born to Josefina and Fortino Alvarado. He was a resident of Miami, working as a miner for Magma Copper and later a custodian for the Miami Unified School District. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports and was a devoted Miami Vandals fan.

Romulo is survived by his seven children; Debbie Tate (Victor) of Gilbert, Arthur “Tudy” Alvarado (Roxy) of Hayden, Loretta Medina (George) of Mesa, Angela Anthony (Larry) of Globe, Andy Alvarado (Renee) of Gilbert, Arlene Alvarado of Miami, Teresa Eubanks (Tom) of Colorado,14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. His siblings; Raymond Alvarado (Julia), Tino Alvarado (Connie), Ralph Alvarado (Isela), Ernesto Ramirez (Luisa), Carmen Pacheco (Frank), Ramona Estrada (Randy).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami, AZ Followed by Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Pinal Cemetery
