Michael Lamont Harback passed away Nov. 9, 2014, in Kingman, where he
had lived for 19 years. Michael was born June 26, 1942, in Rice Lake to
Kathryn and LaMoine Harback.

He was a graduate of Rice Lake High School, class of 1960. He enlisted
in the U.S. Navy and served from 1960-1964, when he was honorably
discharged. He was assigned to the USS Boleo in Key West, Fla., during
the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Mike was married to Peggy Ann Parsons on June 27, 1968, in St. Anthony,
Idaho. Mike and Peggy moved with their infant son Greg to Anchorage,
Alaska, in late 1972, where Mike was employed by the Anchorage Police
Department and Peggy worked for J.C. Penney Company. Subsequently their
work and sense of adventure took them to Hawaii, Montana, Wisconsin,
California and Arizona.

Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years; son, Greg (Maureen) of Biloxi,
Miss.; brother Jon (Linn) of Marshall, Minn.; brother Steven (Jeanne) of
Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughter Mollie; and nephew Jason. Mike was
preceded in death by his parents.

Mike loved to travel. He was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, lived to
golf whenever he could and loved to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Life is a journey, not a destination."
Mike's life journey was very full and he will be missed by all who knew
and loved him.
