Rodney Harry Pupuhi

Rodney Harry Pupuhi, also known as Pu, was born on Aug.18, 1937, in
Honolulu, to the late Samuel Pupuhi and Mary Kauakahi. Pu passed away on
Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at The Gardens Rehab and Care Center in Kingman.

Pu is survived by his spouse Dora; son, Samuel Pupuhi (Hawaii); four
daughters, Maria, Monica, Muneca (California) and Norma (Oklahoma); 11
grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

During his life, he worked as a journeyman welder, security guard,
postman, and deputy sheriff. Pu belonged to the Sons of Hawaii
Motorcycle Club, and the Outside Motorcycle Club in Kingman.

His military service includes: 1st Force Recon Co, 1st Recon Battalion,
3rd Recon Battalion, 5th Recon Battalion, 6th Force Recon Co. Pu
received the Silver Star and a Purple Heart.

The Pupuhi's will have private family services and ashes will be
scattered in the ocean where he loved to swim and snorkel.
