| The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Thursday, January 13, 2005 Donald C. Furtkamp, 74, of Payson died Jan. 11, 2005. He was born Sept. 19, 1930 in Stauton, Ill. Mr. Furtkamp was a graduate of the University of Illinois, and was a Korean War veteran. He worked on the Apollo Missions and various aerospace projects as a computer programmer. He loved golf, baseball and made a hole-in-one at the Payson Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Furtkamp of Payson; sons, Paul of Kentucky and Andy of Phoenix; brothers, James and Robert, both of Illinois; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, with interment at Payson Pioneer Cemetery. See Also: Find A Grave |
