| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Ariz. June 20, 2001 p. A14 Vera Mae Ward of Wickenburg, died July 13. She was 82. Mrs. Ward was born July 6, 1918 in Covington, Ohio. She was a retired homemaker. Survivors include her nieces, Phyllis C. Willis of Wickenburg, Denelda Hungerford of Indian Springs, Nev., and Delores Rubash of Meadview; two grandchildren, Mishelle and Scott McClay; five great-grandchildren; and brother Gene Hittle. Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a great-great niece and nephew, also survive. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husbands, K. Norman McClay and Fred W. Ward; and her son, K. Norman McClay. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20 at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. See Also: Find a Grave |
