Hugie Lee Thomas, Sr., 72, of Eloy, Ariz., passed away Saturday, February 12, 2005. Visitation will be held from Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Valley Chapel.

Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Eloy Memorial Park.

Arrangements entrusted to J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel.

Hugie Thomas Sr.

ELOY - Hugie Lee Thomas Sr., 72, of Eloy died Feb. 12, 2005 at San Joaquin Community Hospital in California.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 1, with Pastor Bryan McNeal officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Thomas was born July 19, 1932 in Eloy and was a son of Ike and Clara Thomas.

Survivors include his wife, Lee Ella; three daughters, Pearlie McKinney and Gladys Sherfield of Eloy and Patricia Thomas of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sons, Arvie L. and Hugie L. Thomas Jr. of Eloy; two sisters, Pauline Noble of Orlando, Fla., and Shirley Miller of Fresno, Calif.; three brothers, Tommie L. and Roger Thomas of Tucson and Charles C. Thomas of Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Thomas.
