Isiah (Zeke) Cannon

ELOY - Isiah "Zeke" Cannon Sr., 63, of Eloy died July 14, 2007 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Westside Church of God in Christ. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Hank Cannon officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Cannon was born July 22, 1943 in Leland, Miss., and was a son of Mitchell and Gracie Cannon. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He worked as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Oletha (Smith); three daughters, Tinya Manuel of Fairfield, Ohio, Jenetha Cannon of Eloy and Andrea Cannon of Laveen; two sons, Isiah Cannon Jr. of Atlanta and Brandon Cannon of Laveen; four sisters, Ethel Reed and Gracie Williams of Chicago, Irene Johnson of Lexington, Ky., and Teresa Roby of Casa Grande; four brothers, Joe Cannon of Chicago, Virgil and Hank Cannon of Casa Grande and Don Cannon of Phoenix; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by five children, Mitchell, John, Charles, Leroy and Larry Cannon, and a sister, Edna Wilson.
