Barbara Kay Fox

Barbara Kay Fox went to be with the Lord on Dec. 8, 2014. She was born on Oct. 17, 1938, in Waterloo, Iowa.

Barbara moved to Prescott, Arizona, in 1972 and later resided in Chino Valley, Arizona. She worked for the Yavapai County Health Department, then for ADOT in the Highway Construction Department. After 22 years of service, she retired in 1999.

Barbara was gifted with a wonderful sense of humor and was a loyal friend. She loved her animals, especially her horse Skip and her cat Candy.

Her parents and her sister Kathy preceded her in death. She is survived by several cousins.

She resided at Prescott Samaritan Village for the past two and a half years. Barbara will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services took place at Samaritan Village Chapel. Arrangements were entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
