Thomas J. Rowson

Thomas J. Rowson passed away after a long illness, Thursday, Dec. 11,
2014 at the beautiful Polidori House owned by Hospice of Havasu. He was
born April 15, 1937 in Marne, Mich. to Clifford and Margaret Rowson. He
married his lifelong sweetheart, Irene, in 1962. They moved to Grand
Rapids, Mich. where he worked as a pharmacist at St. Mary's Hospital for
37 years. He graduated from Ferris State College of Pharmacy and earned
his Master of Science degree at Wayne State University in 1973.

He retired in 1999 and he and his wife enjoyed traveling in their motor
home throughout the United States. After 11 years of traveling they
settled down in Lake Havasu City. Next to traveling, he loved to scuba
dive and enjoyed many diving trips with his best friend Jim. He was a
lifetime member of the Michigan Pharmacy Association and a longtime
member of the Elks Lodge in Muskegon, Mich. and in Lake Havasu City.

He leaves behind his wife, Irene; his daughter, Kristen (Tom) Wiles and
his two grandsons, Jacob and Caleb Wiles; his sister Mary Ann (Jim)
Crough and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was
preceded in death by his brothers, William Rowson and Robert Rowson.

A very special thank you to the nurses and caregivers of The Polidori
House for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu,
Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home &
Crematory.
