| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Saturday, December 20, 2014 - Ann Fitzgerald, 69, passed away Dec. 14, 2014 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Jan. 1, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas to Bob and Mildred Weston. Ann married her husband John, Aug. 1, 1964 in Carlsbad, N.M. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas at El Paso in May 1971. She dedicated 30 years to educating students, including Alpine, Marfa and Fort Davis Independent School Districts. Ann and John moved to Lake Havasu City five years ago, coming from Marfa, Texas, where they lived for 31 years. She was a loving wife for 50 years and a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed. Ann is survived by her husband of 50 years, John S. Fitzgerald of Lake Havasu City; sons, Scott and Jeff Fitzgerald; grandsons, Weston (Connie) Clark, Grant and Jerry Fitzgerald and Tye and Jordan Ridgeway; two great grandchildren; brother, Dan (Sandy) Weston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mildred and sister, Lea Weston. Interment will take place in Texas. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Alpine Memorial Funeral Home in Alpine, Texas. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fort Davis, Texas.
