Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Saturday, December 27, 2014 - Dexter Michael Breckheimer, age 72, of Lake Havasu City, passed away peacefully at home Friday, Dec. 19, 2014. Dexter was born Aug. 10, 1942 in Minneapolis. He is the son of Ruth Breckheimer and the late John William Breckheimer. Dexter had a passion for gold mining, cars, and motorcycles. He moved to Lake Havasu City, five years ago from Minnesota where he worked as a printer. Dexter is survived by his mother, Ruth Breckheimer; son, Damon Breckheimer and his wife Tonya; daughter, Kelly Peppard; brother, Drew Breckheimer and Sue Haling; sisters, Dana Breckheimer and her husband Robert; Dawn Horsager and her husband John, and special friend, Karen Eisenhauer. He also is survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and other family and friends. Dexter is preceded in death by his father, John William Breckheimer and grandson, Nicholas Sebastian Peppard. Services for Dexter will be at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu under Dexter’s name. The family would like to thank Hospice of Havasu for all of their support.
