| East Valley Tribune 7/31/2005. Rita Jean (Gardner) Bertram, 66, of Scottsdale, AZ passed into God's hands on July 28, 2005. Rita was the warmest and most caring mother, who focused her life on her family. Her unwavering devotion to those she loved is reflected in the strength and bond of her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Rita is preceded in death by her son Patrick M. Bertram, Parents Frank and Marie Gardner, and sister Mary. She is survived by her children (and their spouses), Karen Holcombe (Robert), Kathleen Momberger (Craig), Kristen Maust (Anthony) all of Arizona, and Stephen Bertram (Kathleen) of Las Vegas, Nevada. Rita was blessed with ten wonderful grandchildren: Michael, J.R., Eric, Robert, Kelly, David, Adam, Kylee, Mitch, and Kaliegh. She also leaves other family members: Maryann and Stark Olcott, Patricia Mitchell, Linda Bertram, and 11 Nieces and 16 Nephews. There are no words to describe how greatly she will be missed.
