The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 12, 2001, p. A16 Jan Clark of Wickenburg, died Sept. 8 in Wickenburg. She was 70. Mrs. Clark was born Oct. 29, 1930 in Akron, Ohio. She was a longtime resident of Arizona, moving to the state in 1973 and first residing in Parker before coming to Wickenburg. She was a member of the Wickenburg Soroptimists Club, Chamber of Commerce, and served as chairman of the Gold Rush Days Parade. She was a real estate broker, and owner of Jan Clark Realty and Desert Breeze Apartments. She enjoyed world traveling on cruise ships. Survivors include her children, Cathy (Peter) Linton of California, Lindee Teague of Ohio, and Mike (Nancy) Clark and Mark (Mary) Clark, both of Arizona; sister Marilyn Rehberg of Huntington Beach, Calif.; cousins Jack and Brigid Stoekel and Bob and Ann Sharpe; grandchildren Annalisa and Jamie Linton of Mission Viejo, Calif., Jenessa and McKenna Teague of Gahanna, Ohio, Howard and Mitchell Clark of Gilbert, and April, Sabrina, Nolan and Chris Clark of Peoria; and nieces and nephews Nancy, Tim, Scott, Tood, and Cindy McCollum. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Rev. Dale Hallberg will officiate. Memorials received in Jan Clark's name will be donated to Children's Hospital of Orange County (Children's Oncology Unit) Foundation Dept., 455 S. Main St., Orange, Calif. 92868. |
