The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 3, 2001, A20 Richard Hinkle of Wickenburg, died Oct. 1 in Wickenburg. He was 75. He was born Jan. 19, 1926 in Iowa. He had lived in Arizona for the past 18 years. Richard married Marilyn Hoser in 1952. He worked for the Department of Transportation in Iowa for 22 years. He owned R&M Sales in Fairfield, Iowa. He retired to Wickenburg in 1983. Richard always said that he could fix anything but a broken heart. He spent many hours helping family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; daughters Brenda Abbott of Prescott and Sandra Jordan and her husband Charles of Fayetteville, Ark.; sons Richard K. Hinkle and his wife Kim of Mesa, Chris A. Hinkle and his wife Norma of Westlake, Ohio, and Kurt W. Hinkle and his wife Vicky of Queen Creek; sister Phyllis Baum of Fairfield, Iowa; brothers Karl Hinkle of Eugene, Ore. and Earnest J. Hinkle of Burmingham, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and four stepchildren. Memorial services are schedule for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg. Fr. John Vogt will officiate. All arrangements were by Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service. |
