The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Oct. 17, 2001 p. A18 Rosemary K. Zellers of Wickenburg died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001 in Mineral Point, Wisc. She was 80. Mrs. Zellers was born Oct 4, 1921 in Barreltown, Wisc. The daughter of Katherine and the late James L. Mitchell Sr., she graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1938. A dedicated volunteer, Rosemary gave tirelessly of herself to help those in need in her church and community. She was an active member of the parish of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg. She also volunteered for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, and the American Red Cross. Rosemary is survived by her mother, Katherine Mitchell of Dodgeville, Wisc.; daughter and son-in-laws Marcia and Bernard Haskins of Madison, Wisc.; grandchildren Rita (Oria) of Kalispell, Mont., Linda of Monona, Wisc., Brenda (Todd) of Madison, Wisc., Roger of New York, N.Y., Lora (Mitchell) of Waterloo, Wisc., and Sheila of Washington, D.C.; and great-grandchildren Larissa, Tabitha, Winter and Kaden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Zeller, and brothers Bob and Jimmy. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday 9 Oct. 12 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mineral Point. A Memorial Mass will be held at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday Oct. 17) at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg. Burial was held in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 2244, Wickenburg, AZ 85358. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice and the staff of UW Hospital Oncology Dept. The world has lost a good Samaritan, but heaven has gained an angel. |
