Claire Marjorie McDonald of Wickenburg died Oct. 24, 2001.
She was 37.

Claire was born Aug. 15, 1964 in Morristown, N.J. and had lived in Arizona for 24 years.

Claire had many friends and loved to play bingo. Many will miss Claire. However, she is at peace in heaven. Our daughter was a very compassionate person who loved people and life. Claire saw no bad in anyone. I remember when Claire came home from the city one day and told me, "Dad, I just helped a black man who had a flat tire on his pickup." I said, "Claire, you are the person who loves everybody." Claire said, "Dad, everybody just kept passing him. I remembered long ago when you told me help whenever you can regardless of who it may be." I told her, "I love you and so does our Lord."

We will miss her but never forget her. Thanks, Claire, for sharing your 37 years with family and friends. Your memories will be our strength.

She is survived by her stepmother and father Carolyn and Walter McDonald; daughters Stacey McDonald of Wickenburg and Krystena Ramos of Houston, Texas; sons Randy Ramos and Edilberto Ramos of Houston; sisters Mary Lou Sudela of Houston, Barbara Ann Bowerbank of Wickenburg, and Virginia Prevost of Ferndale, Wash.; brothers Robert McDonald of New Jersey, Walter McDonald III and Michael McDonald of Missouri; grandparents Helen Kelshaw of Parsippany, N.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her mother Barbara McDonald and infant son Kyle McDonald.
Visitation was held Monday (Oct. 29) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Alliance Church, and services were held Monday (Oct. 29) at 11 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be Monday (Nov. 5) at 10 a.m. at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery, with Rev. Dave Hunter officiating.

Pallbearers will be Robert McDonald, Michael McDonald, Robert Prevost, Gary Sudela (brothers-in-law), James Hernandez (uncle) and Amos Davis Jr. (cousin).
Donations may be made to the Wickenburg CAP Office, Attention: Richard Kelly, 256 N. Washington St., Wickenburg AZ 85390.
