Earl F. (Bud) Stewart

Earl F. "Bud" Stewart, a resident of Buckeye since 1982, died April 2, 2000, in Arlington, at 66.

Stewart was born in Vega, Texas on April 1, 1934, and was raised in Melrose, N.M., where he graduated from high school. He earned a bachelor's degree at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. Stewart was employed by the Federal Housing Administration at various locations in New Mexico. After settling in Buckeye in 1982, he was involved in real estate and security. At one time he worked as a camp cook in Wickenburg.

Stewart is survived by his daughters, Shawna, Tawna Ward, Lisa and Shannon Lynn; son, Earl F. Jr.; brother, Homer "Pete" Stewart; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at the Desert Rose in Arlington.
