West Valley View May 24, 2000 Frederic C. "Fred" Rustin, 73, of Buckeye, died May 21, 2000 in Phoenix. He was born in Atlanta, Ga. on Aug. 23, 1926 and moved to Arizona in 1962. Rustin served aboard the USS Suffolk in the U.S. Navy. He attended San Diego State University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree. He went to work for the Safeway Co. After moving to Arizona, Rustin opened Rusty's Drive-In and later a second restaurant by the same name in Avondale. Survived by his wife, Virginia; daughter, Debrah (Frank) Christensen; sisters, Juanita Crawford and Evelyn Parks; brothers, Donald, Milton, Ralph and Warren. Visitation at Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 Baseline Road, in Buckeye, with graveside services at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Park. Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements. See Also: Find_A_Grave |
